Environment I'm currently working on. This post contains concept images, early versions, and visual development on Blender. There are no textures as of yet.
The current scene on Blender. After finishing the model, I'm currently starting the texture. All the colors on this image are used to develop the look and may change somewhat.
Slightly earlier version. The main change is the window, which was redesigned.
Early Cycles render. It was too dark, but it followed my original idea for the scene, which changed.
Early cycles render.
Original concept. The idea was a Gothic-style dinning room. It ended up changing significantly. However, many shapes were still included in one way or another.
Early model paintover. I still had the idea of a vampire-esque room. This was later changed to be more of a Victorian noble feel.
Another early paintover. While I liked the chandelier and visible door initially, I ended up cutting it.
Earlier window design. It mostly takes inspiration from Gothic architecture. However, I felt like the design wasn't great so I redesigned it to the current version.
First attempt to redesign the window. I had the idea of simple geometric divisions, with stained glass as a background. I ended up adopting some parts of this.
The final version of the window. It focuses on circles, with the moon phases as detail, since the scene is focused on the moon.
